Normal Earl Kelley - Aug 4, 1932-Mar 17, 2007

Memorial services are scheduled at Calvary Baptist Church at a later date for Normal Earl Kelley, 74 of Roswell who passed away March 17, 2007.

Normal was born Aug. 4, 1932 in Creal Springs, Ill. to Charles and Bonnie Lillian (Adams) Kelly, who preceded him in death.

Normal and Diane Witt were married on July 17, 1954 in Broadview, Ill. She survives him at their home.

He is also survived by a son: Charles William Kelley of Nashville, Tenn. and a daughter Colleen Denise Smallwood and husband George of Nashville, Tenn., and one grandson, Sam McGinley; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles Ray Kelley and Forrest L. Kelley, and one sister, Mary Verlene Little.

Normal spent most of his working life as a welder, heavy equipment repairman and ended his working career with Peabody Coal Co. where he retired after 22 years. He was also in a national commercial for Wal-Mart and its alien theme.

Normal enjoyed his church and church family. He was a decon for many years. He liked woodworking, bowling and talking to people. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 47 years.
