Lucy Gonzales Wiggins -- June 25, 1930 - Feb. 5, 2007

Services are scheduled at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at St. Peter's Catholic Church for Lucy Gonzales Wiggins, 76, of Roswell, who passed away Feb. 5, 2007 in Lubbock, Texas. Fr. Juan Montoya of St. Peter's will officiate.

Lucy was born June 25, 1930 in Lamy to Antonio and Betsie Gonzales. She married "Smiling" Jack Wiggins on Apr. 4, 1952 in Santa Fe. Lucy worked at Wiggins Sight and Sound and J&M Sports in Roswell.

Active in the community, Lucy was a member of the Elks Club and enjoyed bowling and bingo. Lucy was also a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Her five children and their spouses, J Ben and Donna Wiggins of San Antonio, Texas; Michael and Beckie Wiggins of Knoxville, Tenn.; Mark Allen and D'Ette Wiggins of Lubbock, Texas; David and Christine Wiggins of Roswell; and Joy Lynn and Mondo Yglecias of Dallas, Texas survive Lucy as do her grandchildren, Genny and Marcus Wiggins Smith; Sandy Wiggins; Lauren and Matt Blanton; Matthew Wiggins; Marcus Wiggins; Marti'n Wiggins; Miguel Wiggins; Jordan Wiggins; Jessica Wiggins; Kristian Rodriquez and Samantha Rodriquez.

Her husband, Jack Wiggins, who passed in 2003, preceded her in death.
