June C. (Weeks) Heinzman passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2019. The lord called her home, she is singing and dancing with the angels and now is our guardian angel to watch over us.

June was a very loving wife, mother,
grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin, she loved her family beyond measure. She
enjoyed spending time with them and reminiscing the days of camping, fishing,
bowling, bingo, canning, scary movies, watching those Arizona Diamondbacks play
ball and playing slots at the casino. There is nothing she wouldn’t do that
didn’t involve her family in some way. Her home was always open to anyone that
needed a place to sit for a spell, or to lay their head for a nap. Prior to her
retirement she enjoyed her job working as an accountant and being a mother and
homemaker. When she was blessed with grandchildren she was always there to lend
a helping hand, snacks at the ready, a stern reprimand with loving encouragement
to follow. We were blessed to have been given advice and wisdom from her even if
we didn’t want it sometimes, countless moments and memories that we will forever
cherish.
Services will be held on June 1, 2019 at
11 am at the Adventure Bible Church located at 1905 S. Main St. Roswell, NM
88203. There will be a reception following immediately after services and will
be a potluck affair. Please bring your favorite covered dish. June did not want
a mourning of her life but a celebration of her life. Please respect these final
wishes and wear bright colored clothing and even though there will be lots of
tears we will have lots of stories and memories to share.
Her favorite passage in the bible was Psalm 23
verses 1-6:
The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in still waters.
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me
in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies; thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I
will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
