Memorial services will be held at a later date for John Yule, 86, of Roswell, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory.  He passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.

A tribute will be held for John Yule, 91, of Roswell at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home. John passed away on February 6, 2012 in Roswell.

John was born to Donald Yule and Alma Baa on July 28, 1920 in Woodworth, ND and graduated in 1938 from Woodworth High School. He served in the United States Army and World War II from June 9, 1942 – June 18, 1943. He farmed in the Woodworth area then later retired in Roswell, NM in the early 1980’s. John was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed golfing, bowling and bridge. He was also a past member of the Elks Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Sertoma Club.

He is survived by his wife, Allene of the home, five step-children, Joan Fish, Ron Gospodarek and his wife, Pat, Jacke Gospodarek , Craig Gospodarek and Dale Ann Silva and her husband Terry ; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Yule and Alma Baa and his sister, Maxine Branning.
