Beloved mother and grandmother, Jacqueline Joyce Bidwell, better known as Jackie, 82, of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, on April 1, 1934, to Jacob Mayer and Marie Pirschell.

Jackie spent over 40 years working as an Instructor in ceramics. She enjoyed all types of crafts, including ceramics, crocheting, beading and stained glass. She was very talented and it showed thru the numerous awards she won for her artistic abilities and contributions. Jackie was an avid bingo player, golfer and bowler. She also loved to travel, going to Laughlin for Christmas was something she looked forward to every year. Always the caring person, she would help anyone that needed it. Jackie was woman with a quirky sense of humor. She was a blessed woman, who married two men that were the loves of her life, Delbert L. Anderson and David A. Bidwell. A loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, Jackie wouldn’t even answer the phone if they were playing.

 Preceding Jackie in death were her husbands: Delbert L. Anderson, married 22 years and David A. Bidwell, married 16 years; parents, a granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

 Those honored to carry on Jackie’s heritage are: sons: Daniel Kerns of St Joseph, MO, and Dennis Kerns and wife, Maggie of Rio Ranch, NM; daughters: Deborah Kulig of Bettendorf, IA, Rebecca Imming of  Bettendorf, IA, Lori Sisneros and husband, Jerry of Roswell, NM, and Barbara Hall of Tallahassee, FL; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren remain to cherish her memory.

 Viewing will be Monday, September 12, 2016, 1:00-6:00PM and Tuesday, September 13, 2016, 9:00-11:00AM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory. A Graveside Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016, 1:00PM at South Park Cemetery, Tim Arlet officiating. A Reception will follow at the Roswell Adult Center.

 Pallbearers: Dennis Kerns, Matthew L. Shappard, Matthew E. Shappard, Ethan Shappard, Greg Carrasco, and Andrew Foster.
