Butch FrizellHoward "Butch" Frizell -- July 20 1943 - April 6, 2018


Howard “Butch” Frizell, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018. He was born July 20, 1943, to Herbert and Virginia Ginger Cheek Frizell, who preceded him in death. Celebrate Howard’s life by visiting www.andersonbethany.com to offer a memory or expression of sympathy for his family.


    Surviving to cherish Butch’s memory are his wife, Elenor May “Gigi” Frizell; brother, Herbert “Bud” Frizell of Roswell; his son, Scott Frizell of Anaheim, California, Rebecca Acosta, David and Dora Willcox of Roswell, Jeffery Silva who preceded him in death. Grandchildren: Orlando Lawrence and Monica Melendez of Carson, California, Amber Roman and Shaelyne Willcox of Roswell, Jesse Silva of Carson, California, Pandora Frizell of Anaheim, California and numerous great-grandchildren who he adored and loved.


     Butch retired from Shell Oil as a Maintenance Supervisor on January 1, 1992. He worked at Leprino Cheese Factory and Nova Bus. Butch was of the Catholic Faith, a Dallas Cowboys fan and a LA Laker fan. Butch loved his Gigi. He was an avid pool player and bowler, and he participated in the Senior Olympics and won many awards. Tio Butch did not know any strangers.


     “Butch loved his Cuñados!”- Carlos, Louie, Jesse and Orlando Cobos; sisters-in-law: Betty Alvarez, Ester Apodaca; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved and that loved him.


     He will be missed dearly.

 
     Pallbearers will be: Gabriel Apodaca, Christopher Guiron, Louie Cobos, Carlos Cobos, Guillermo “Willie” Cardenas and Sadie Ann Cardenas.
     Honorary Pallbearers are: Scott Frizell and Orlando Lawrence Melendez.
     Howard “Butch” Frizell’s family lovingly wrote this tribute in his honor.
