Archie was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend who
was loved by all. Archie was a lifelong resident of New Mexico, born in Clovis and
raised here in Roswell where he was a contractor. He started Langford Tractor Work
in 1977 with a riding lawnmower in the back of his pick-up and for the past 30years
built it up into a thriving business that it is known as today. He was a member
of Midway Assembly of God. Archie was an avid Drag Racing enthusiast, loved being
outdoors, and loved God and life in general. Those who knew Archie at all were probably
a victim of one or several of his practical jokes and, his way of telling a “Tall
Tale”. Archie never met a stranger, and was truly a friend to all.
